School & Department Graduations

Graduates will be honored at individual school or department graduations at various times and locations during Commencement Weekend. Many of the school and department ceremonies are followed or preceded by a reception. Generally, no tickets are required to attend, however some departments may require tickets or RSVP due to limited venue capacity.

Questions about these events should be directed to the school or department. Arrows indicate links will take you directly to the school or department's website.

Please Note:
These events may be located some distance from the stadium. There is no general campus transportation from the Stanford Stadium to these sites, and most guests walk from the Stadium. For ceremonies located across campus, guests may want to consider driving to the ceremony site. Please plan accordingly. Consult the Stanford Commencement Map for walking directions, or check out the School, Department, and Program Ceremonies Map (available closer to Commencement). A limited shuttle service is available along portions of Campus Drive and Jane Stanford Way. See the shuttle map for stops and hours of operation. See the campus parking map for parking lots across campus.

Accessibility Information:
All ceremony sites will have a variety of seating options, including wheelchair accessible spaces. Individual School or Department graduations may be located some distance from the stadium. For ceremonies located across campus, guests may want to consider driving to the ceremony site. Please plan accordingly.

View Directions from the Stadium to the Diploma Ceremonies & Receptions for walking and driving directions and nearest bus shuttle stop to select sites.
