PLEASE NOTE: Most Commencement Weekend events are free and open to graduates and their guests. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED for Senior Dinner on the Quad, and some Diploma Ceremonies. Please visit the links in the schedule below for additional details.

A program of the Stanford Alumni Associationfor all graduating seniors. 

Graduating seniors in the Class of '15 enjoy an elegant dinner under the stars in Stanford's historic Main Quad.


Friday, June 12, 2015 - 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM

A program of The Stanford Fund, this event is for graduating seniors, their family and friends, faculty, and staff. No tickets or RSVP required.

The graduating Class of '15 and their families gather together to celebrate their class' commitment to philanthropy at the Senior Gift Check Presentation.


Saturday, June 13, 2015 - 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Limited seating; no tickets required

A bookend to students' Opening Convocation held four years earlier, Baccalaureate at Stanford is a multifaith celebratory gathering for graduating seniors, graduate students, and professional students, as well as their families and friends.

Saturday, June 13, 2015 - 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

No tickets are required.

President John L. Hennessy and Mrs. Andrea Hennessy will host a reception for graduates and their guests in the gardens of the Hoover House.


Sunday, June 14, 2015 - 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM

No tickets are required

Gates open at 8:00 AM
Procession begins at 9:30 AM*

Ceremony begins at 10:00 AM
*Ceremony participants report at 8:30 AM. Please refer to the ceremony instruction links on the student and faculty pages for complete details.

Degrees will be conferred; however, no diplomas will be awarded at this ceremony. President Hennessy will address the assemblage as well as the Commencement speaker; the Cuthbertson, Gores, and Dinkelspiel awards will be presented.
